Claire and Jamie catch each other up on things in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 65

Jamie gets back to the Ridge in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 65. Before they can even fully discuss everything that’s happened, there’s someone who needs help.

I love seeing Claire and Jamie together, but they don’t get a lot of quiet moments. Not just them and their own thoughts. They’re constantly catching each other up on things that have happened. This chapter is one of those cases.

They need to catch each other up on the things that happened while they were apart. They need to discuss the threats to come with the war. They even need to discuss who Jamie can trust—or not trust.

The problem is they don’t even get a chance to really discuss all this. Agnes Cloudtree turns up in need of help. It turns out that she’s been kicked out of her house.

This chapter certainly continues the plot for the Revolutionary War. It also gives us a look at how people are going to rely on the Frasers because they know they can. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.

Will it be used in the TV series, though? I’m on the side of no for this one, and I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 65.
