Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter certainly seems to foreshadow something is coming in the Revolutionary War. The letter in Hebrew made me think of the coded messages in the music in France. I’m just at that point where I can’t remember the details of Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone enough to see if this is foreshadowing of the Captain Richardson storyline or not.

I feel like it is. The use of the term “Ambidextrous” makes it sound like the note is written by someone from the future.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

The chapter could be adapted in Outlander Season 8. I’m in two minds about whether the Young Ian storyline will be used, but I could see this part of the Jamie story being used. That’s especially if I’m right in thinking that it all connects to Captain Richardson. I’m almost certain we’ll see him turn out to be the big villain of the final season, and having this letter foreshadow trouble would be the perfect way of handling it.
