For All Mankind Season 3 sees another time jump, but this one isn’t to the Season 2 post-credit scene. What time period does the season cover?

We expected a time jump to 1995, which was where the post-credit scene at the end of the Season 2 finale took place. Instead, we jumped just a little earlier than that to 1992.
