Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter doesn’t really foreshadow that much. I don’t think it foreshadows Jamie’s death, especially considering what we know from Diana Gabaldon. I think that there’s a foreshadowing that there are other Jamie Frasers out there. Frank could have been mistaken.

I think this chapter also makes it clear where the plot is going. Kings Mountain isn’t far from Fraser’s Ridge. That’s where the next big battle is sure to be.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

This chapter is likely to be used in the TV series. Probably not all of it, as there won’t likely be the discussion about the rapist who got away. Instead, I think the part that will be used is the discussion about Frank’s book.

Jamie and Young Ian’s relationship has adapted so much in the books and in the TV series. We need to see what that means for them when it comes to discussions of battle in the final season of the series.
