Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter foreshadows a couple of things. The first is the joke about Oggy’s name. Yes, he will return with a name, and I adore the way that this all plays out.

The second is the brothel part. It’s not clear at first, but we have to remember that Claire is asking him to visit a brothel in Philadelphia. This is where Jane and Fanny were. It’s clear that Claire would either like information or to pass on information at the brothel. Ian will get away with visiting it.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I’m in two minds about how much of Ian’s storyline is going to be used in Outlander Season 8. I would love to see this storyline used, and I do think it needs to be for the ending of the series. Let us see this closure on Emily and Ian’s story, so that we all know that his heart is fully with Rachel now.

If we see it, I suspect that we’ll see some of this chapter. I’m not sure about the Silvia Hardman part, but I do think we’ll get the brothel part. I have a feeling that Fanny is going to come into the series, and that will lead to Claire wanting to pass on some sort of information to the brothel Jane used to work at.
