Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter doesn’t foreshadow all that much. This chapter was built from some foreshadowing. We saw that Claire may have healed a little more of Roger earlier in the book, which was a hint that this was coming up. Here we get that Claire is really coming into her powers, and that offers some extra hope for the people of the Ridge.

However, I do think there may be some foreshadowing of Claire getting in some trouble again. After all, the fisher-folk already think that she’s a witch.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I do think that this chapter needs to be included in the TV series. We’ve had such a big moment in Outlander Season 4 of Claire learning that she’ll come into her full power when her hair turns white. It’s something she’s kept at the back of her mind (although more in the books than the show). We’ve kept it in our minds.

We need to see this part develop. We need to see her bring life to this baby, and we need to see what that means for her in the future.
