Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter certainly makes it clear that the Revolutionary War is almost at Fraser’s Ridge. Jamie is being called in to help with the militia, and the journey wouldn’t have taken too long for Jamie to get there.

I think there’s also a bit of foreshadowing in Captain Richardson’s storyline here. I do remember that he turns out to be a time traveler who wants to prevent the Americans winning the war. Jamie is still making difficult choices. While he’s on the side of the Americans because of how he knows history plays out, he would have been a Loyalist if he didn’t know. I feel like Jamie making a choice to stay at Fraser’s Ridge and how to do it is partial foreshadowing that there are more tricky choices to come.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I have a feeling that we’ll hear about Jamie getting a letter from Cleveland. It’s important to add some of the details in as they correlate to the point of history they’re in. We as viewers will need to know that. It’s also important to see Jamie handle this situation.

This is a very short chapter. It’s not going to be that difficult to add it all into the show.
