William and Amaranthus discuss abdicated his title in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 46

We get more discussion of what William can do about his title in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 46. Of course, this is the big topic of discussion for William.

Surprisingly, it’s Amaranthus who he talks to about this. This isn’t his decision, though. Amaranthus overheard Hal talking, and she has figured out another option for William to remove himself from his title. Of course, it means she gains some sort of power.

There was something from the start that I didn’t like about Amaranthus. I know I said the previous chapter with her was when I first noticed signs that she was up to no good. It’s clear in this chapter she has had some ulterior motives with everyone. It’s just a question of what she’s up to.

Throughout the chapter, we sees signs that Amaranthus has planned a few things running up to this. And it’s clear that her scheming isn’t coming to an end just yet.

Will the chapter be used in the TV series? I keep flipping back and forth on whether Amaranthus will be included. I’ll get to my thoughts on this chapter in the adaptation process.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 46.
