Jamie and Brianna discuss Bree going to Savannah in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 42
Jamie isn’t having much luck when it comes to good feelings about Lord John Grey. In Outlander Book 9, Chapter 42, he gets the letter with the request about Bree.
Of course, Claire understands what John wants. Deep down, Jamie will too. The problem is that Jamie is dealing with a lot of negative thoughts about John right now. That’s not really too surprising considering everything that has happened as of late.
When Bree finds out what John wants, she is happy to go to him. The question is how she can get there safely, and Brianna has an idea for that. After all, Fergus and Marsali need some things—along with a child—to be dropped off.
The chapter doesn’t seem to foreshadow all that much. It’s continuing the current storyline that’s happened and helps to develop a storyline to give characters something to do next. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.
What about using this in the adaptation? I’ll get into that in the relevant section.
Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 42.
