Captain Cunningham may be forming a militia in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 38

The Frasers have had their suspicions about Captain Cunningham for some time. The latest events in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 38 make them worse.

It’s a time of the Revolution in America in Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. It can be hard to trust people, especially new people who have connections to the British Crown. It’s understandable then that the Frasers and MacKenzies are suspicious of Captain Cunningham.

This chapter furthers those suspicions. Someone is bringing weapons onto the Ridge, and they’re trying to get to Cunningham. Jamie isn’t going to let that happen on his own land.

This chapter certainly sets up the tensions on the Ridge. It’s clear that not everyone is a Rebel, and Cunningham is a man to watch out for.

Will it be used in the series? Maybe. The more that I remember of this storyline, I think Cunningham may be brought into the story. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 38.
