Claire and Jamie clear the air about John again in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 37

Claire and Jamie are still having a bit of a disagreement about John in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 37. Jamie is still angry about the entire situation.

I know a lot of people think that Jamie should just accept and forgive. He should have expected that the two would need to do something that makes it look like their marriage was valid. People think he should also just accept the past as the past and move on. However, those thoughts are not valid.

Jamie is still processing a lot. He is angry, and he is working through that. He deserves to do it in his own time.

However, Claire is done. She decides that it is time to clear the air, and yes, it does mean through their passionate lovemaking as usual.

The chapter doesn’t really foreshadow all that much, I don’t think. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.

What about the use in the TV series? I do expect to see this being used, and I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 37.
