Hal offers some words of advice to William in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 33

We head back to William, who is trying to avoid anyone he knows in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 33. That doesn’t work when he runs into Hal.

As much as some of this part of the story drags, I love seeing the chapters with Hal and William together. William has a lot of questions about life, and Hal is there to help guide him. He doesn’t tell William what he should or shouldn’t do, though. Instead, Hal offers some words of advice to help guide William, and I adore it.

William has a chance to really think about what he wants. That’s not something he’s had the liberty of doing, but will he actually go through the steps to think about things?

The chapter certainly helps to push William’s character development forward. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.

As for the adaptation, I don’t think we’ll see it. I would love to, though. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 33.
