Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter doesn’t foreshadow all that much. It’s focused on closing a story off for Cinnamon. It does feel like Cinnamon’s whole storyline was just to get William in Savannah and back to Lord John Grey.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I don’t see this chapter being used in the TV series. I just don’t see any of the Cinnamon storyline being used. Lord John Grey is not as big of a character in the series as he is in the books. He doesn’t get all that much screen time. Just look at how he was in just one episode of Outlander Season 7, with only the important parts connected to Jamie, William, and Brianna used.

Outlander Season 8 will need to focus on the big, important storylines. Only the small ones that connect to the bigger ones are likely to be used, and I doubt this is one of them.
