We head back to William’s story in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 31

After taking some time with the Frasers and MacKenzies, it’s time to head back to William. He catches up with Lord John Grey in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 31.

It’s sometimes easy to forget about William and Lord John Grey. Their stories come up in bits and pieces, and sometimes, we don’t always want to head to them. However, it’s clear that this part of the story is thickening the main plot for them. It’s all about Amaranthus.

I’d forgotten that William was traveling with John Cinnamon until I started this chapter. This part of the story doesn’t interest me all that much, but I guess that’s because I just know who Lord John Grey is.

I don’t really spot any foreshadowing in the story. What I do see is plot development, and I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing chapter.

Do I see it being used in the TV series? Maybe, but not all of it. I’ll get to why I think some but not all will be used in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 31.
