When is The Winter King Season 1 finale on MGM+?
How much do you know of the Arthurian legend? It’s time for another retelling of the story in The Winter King. When will the Season 1 finale air?
If you’re looking for something new to watch, you’ll want to turn to MGM+. The Winter King is based on The Warlord Chronicles of books by Bernard Cornwell. It’s a retelling of the Arthurian legend we have all come to know and love.
The books are narrated by Derfel Cadarn. While he remains the narrator of this story, there is a lot more focus on making Arthur the lead protagonist. This is a series that you’ll certainly want to see play out on screen.
The Winter King Season 1 finale date
The series airs on Sundays on MGM+. The premiere was back on Aug. 20, and we’re getting one episode per week. Like STARZ, MGM+ is a premium cable network. While there is an app to sign up to, there is also a linear channel. With the linear channel makeup, weekly releases are all that’s really possible.
With 10 episodes to the story, it’s easy to work out the finale date. In fact, that date has been confirmed. We’ll get The Winter King Season 1 finale on Sunday, Oct. 29. It’s the perfect treat for Halloween weekend considering Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table tend to be a popular Halloween costume for those looking for something a little less scary.
If you’re outside of the U.S., the dates are going to be different. For example, the show didn’t premiere in Canada until Sunday, Sept. 10. There isn’t a date for the release in the UK yet, and that’s despite the series being filmed in the UK with a UK cast. You’ll want to check out your local listings to find out where the show is streaming by you.
