Roger speaks to Captain Cunningham in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 22

While Bree and Jamie are away, Roger and Claire have a task in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 22. This is one that Jamie needs them to do.

We know that the Cunninghams are suspicious. Well, maybe not Mrs. Cunningham. Captain Cunningham is up to something, though, and Jamie doesn’t know which side of the Revolutionary War he’s on. Roger realizes that he is connected in some way, though.

So, Roger needs to find a way to get some information. He needs Mrs. Cunningham kept away, and that’s something for Claire to do. However, it turns out that Claire isn’t needed and Roger gets some information that can help.

I don’t see too much in the way of foreshadowing in here. There is one small bit, and I’ll get to that in the foreshadowing section.

I would like to see this chapter used in the TV series in some way, though. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section of the post.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 22.
