Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter certainly seems to foreshadow that the Revolutionary War is getting closer to them. There are all sorts of signs of this with the mention of the stormy weather and the discussion of Frank’s book.

I also think there’s foreshadowing of more of what Frank knows will come up. Honestly, I’m ready for a whole book about what Frank knew.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I would love to see this book used in the TV series. This is such an important chapter when it comes to what Frank knew in the series. We need to hear more about the books that he wrote, and we need to see this conversation about Jamie now seeing what Frank looked like.

It doesn’t have to take up a lot of time. Just as Jamie reads through the book in a small scene that connects to something else would work. This will also give us confirmation of whether or not Claire told Jamie all about how Black Jack Randall and Frank look so much alike.
