The Kingdom 2023: What happens at Lords of the North?

Lords of the North is a round-robin event on Saturday night at The Kingdom. Here’s a look at the event from The Kingdom 2023.

If you’ve been to a Sasnak City event, you’ll know that there is a lot of time with the cast. For Wessex tier holders and some others, Lords of the North is another chance for that. This is a time for the round-robin event that gives the chance for the cast to chat to attendees about anything and everything.

This is one of those events that is automatically included in the Wessex tier. There are also some tickets to purchase, but this number is limited. There are only enough tickets to make sure there is one table per cast member. The cast members circulate around the tables.

Lords of the North at The Kingdom 2023

During The Kingdom 2023, attendees got to head into the event, where there was a bag of snacks each waiting for them. In previous years, there have been snacks in the middle of the room, but things happened before that made that difficult to do again. It’s better giving people their own snacks.

The cast members spent about 12 minutes with each table, where attendees were able to ask questions and listen to stories. Like so many other events, the rules were no inappropriate questions and no monopolizing the cast. Of course, the cast can end up talking about all sorts, and you can’t really change the conversation because it’s considered “inappropriate,” but the team members will be on hand to help with that.

The cast members then move to the next table (one cast member per table) and the chair for the cast even moves around to make sure each attendee gets a chance to sit next to a cast member. You don’t get to choose who you end up sitting next to during the night. This has been something that’s worked for each Sasnak City event.

There is a break at the halfway point and then the event continues. There is also a cash bar, but you can only get drinks at the start and at the halfway point. There is time for the afterparty that night after this two-or-so-hour event takes place.
