The Kingdom 2023: What to expect at the Flame Bearer Desserts

The Flame Bearer Desserts is the Saturday night event for the Wessex tier at The Kingdom. Take a look at the event from The Kingdom 2023.

Some tiers at The Kingdom have events and perks included. In the Wessex tier, there’s a chance to head to the Flame Bearer Desserts on the Saturday night of the event. This is a chance to chat to the cast members, enjoy some chocolate and sweet desserts, and gets some selfies.

It’s only available for the Wessex tier. There are no tickets for this sold for this, although there are some people who get the chance to win tickets as they buy others. There aren’t many of these available, though, and it is a draw that’s done fairly.

Of course, before you buy the Wessex tier, you want to know what this Saturday night event is like. Here’s a look at what happened at the 2023 event.

Flame Bearer Desserts at The Kingdom 2023

In previous years, the event has taken place in the vendor area. In 2023, we headed left as we walked through the World War I Museum doors and went to a small room past the cafe. This is a little quieter and allows for a table set up to eat the desserts better, but the lighting wasn’t as good.

There were five tables set up, allowing for one to two guests for friends to hang out with each other. This year, the cast members were moved around the table to make sure everyone got a chance to chat with them and grab their selfies. Before, guests have migrated around the cast, and it would create bottlenecks.

I’ll say that apart from the lighting in the room not being as good as that big lighting fixture of the past, the room and the layout was a great improvement. During the event, attendees got the chance to chat to the cast members for about five minutes, with selfies being included in that. The cast members are fun with their photos, with Arnas and Eliza, for example, both coming up with some pose ideas to do.

It’s important not to monopolize the case members and allow them to lead the conversation. Getting them to try the local desserts is always great fun.

The desserts came from Crumbl Cookie and the museum cafe, and they were absolutely delicious.
