Outlander Season 7B is not coming to STARZ in September 2023
Outlander Season 7A ended with Claire, Jamie, and Young Ian finally getting to Scotland. When can we watch Outlander Season 7B?
We’re into another Droughtlander. Just as we get a string of new episodes of Outlander, we end up in a long break. At least this time we know that the episodes have been filmed. It’s the post-production process that is taking some time.
STARZ will also want to spread out some of the content it has. With the SAG-AFTRA strike still going on as well as the WGA strike, STARZ is going to find the 2024 schedule plans will need to change. So, it’s no surprise at all that Outlander Season 7B is not on the list of September releases, not that we even expected it.
When will Outlander Season 7B premiere on STARZ?
What is this wait going to look like? That’s where we don’t really have any answers. All we know right now is that STARZ planned for a 2024 release date.
When in 2024? Your guess is as good as anyone’s. It is possible that we could see it in early 2024. A six-month break between the two halves would match the way the first season was released. Of course, there was more risk in separating the first season, so keeping the break to a minimum would have been important.
The series now has a following. The break could be a little longer, but I don’t think we’ll have to wait any longer than summer 2024. There’s no need to spread out the content that much. Although, this will depend on when work on Outlander Season 8 can start as STARZ may want to find a way to minimize the final Droughtlander and making this one a little longer is the way to do that.
