John Quincy Myers brings bees in Outlander Book 9, Chapter 13

It’s been a while since John Quincy Myers has been in the Outlander books, but he turns up in Chapter 13 of Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. He’s the one who brings the bees.

I love that JQM continues to support the Frasers when they need him. They, of course, would do the same for him. This is when he brings the bees to the Ridge, and we find out that they will be able to pass on the news around other bees in the area.

However, it’s not just about the bees. He’s brought letters, and Jamie is worried that one of them is from John. After all, he’s not quite forgive John for everything that has happened yet. This does seem to foreshadow a few things for John and Jamie, though, and I’ll get to that.

Will the chapter be used in the adaptation? I don’t think it will. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone Chapter 13.
