Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

I do spot a little bit of foreshadowing in this chapter when it comes to Oggy. The parents haven’t settled on a name just yet, and I think that is for a reason. This foreshadowing is also connected to just how sure Rachel is of herself and of her love for Ian (and his for her). It all comes down to Ian meeting Emily again.

Rachel and Ian will come across Emily. It ends up being Emily who names Oggy, and I do love the name that ends up being given.

Adapting the Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone chapter

I would like to see this chapter used. I’m not sure if all of it will be used in Outlander Season 8, but I suspect some of it will be. We’ll get to see Bree and Rachel meet. In the TV series, we’ll also need to see Jenny and Bree meet for the first time.

I think some of this could be handled with a few other chapters, though. There doesn’t need to be a lot of back and forth, and there won’t be a lot of time for that. Remember, it’s only 10 episodes in the final season.
