So, you likely stuck around for the promo on Friday only not to see it. Why wasn’t it there? Is STARZ behind with its marketing material? Well, we have some bad news for you.
Outlander Season 7, Episode 9 isn’t coming just yet
The most recent episode of the series was the midseason finale. That cliffhanger was strategic to make you need to tune in for answers as soon as the show returns. We have a wait on our hands for Outlander Season 7, Episode 9, so there isn’t a big promo for it just yet.
When will the promo arrive? I wouldn’t expect to see it until the end of the year at the earliest. We may need to wait until sometime in 2024. It all depends on when next year STARZ is planning to release the remaining episodes.
The episodes have been filmed. They were going through final post-production when the writers strike started. The SAG-AFTRA strike doesn’t affect the show as it’s not a SAG show, so we don’t need to worry too much about delays on these eight episodes. The delay is going to be in STARZ spreading out the content that it has.
The promos usually aren’t released until a month or two before the premieres, so the end of the year is possible if we’re getting the remaining episodes at the start of 2024.
