Buck goes to the past with Roger

Roger wasted no time in sharing that he was going to the past. He would find Jemmy and bring him back home safe. Bree and Mandy need to stay in the present day.

There is someone else who can travel: Buck. Just like Roger, Buck wastes no time in saying that he will travel. It’s where Bree and Roger would have sent him if he wanted to go. He doesn’t know if he wants to travel for himself, but he will do what needs to be done for his kin.

I adore this moment. Buck originally came off as an awful guy, but he’s turned into Cousin Buck, someone who will do what he can for his family just like so many Highlanders.

Claire saves Jamie

Claire did everything she could to save Jamie. She held a sword up to threaten the looters, and then she checked Jamie over to see how he was injured. After that, it was about saving his hand, making sure to leave him with something that was a working hand without pain.

It’s been Jamie saving Claire for so long, it’s time for Claire to save Jamie. And she came through.
