We are officially into another Droughtlander. A lot went down in the Outlander Season 7A finale, leaving us with plenty of questions about what’s to come next for many of the characters. We have to wait for answers, though.
Of course, there are always the books to give the answers away. The seventh season has stuck pretty well to the books so far, although some of the storylines have been heavily condensed. We’re into Book 8 storylines for Bree and Roger while we’re still in Book 7 storylines for Claire and Jamie for the time being. We’re getting into Book 8 storylines, though.
For those who only want to find out the events through the TV show, you’ll need to wait. How long is that wait going to be?
When could Outlander Season 7B premiere on STARZ?
STARZ has not been forthcoming with an exact date for the remaining eight episodes of the season. All we know right now is that it will arrive at some point in 2024.
With some hope, that will be early 2024. The first season was split in two and the break was six months. With that in mind, we could see Outlander Season 7B premiere around Valentine’s Day in 2024. We’d be up for that!
There are also rumors that we’ll need to wait until April or even May. Nobody knows right now, and all we can do is keep an eye on what STARZ has planned.
The current strike action shouldn’t affect the season. Filming had already been completed and the series isn’t a SAG show, show means the SAG-AFTRA strike shouldn’t affect post-production. It’s Outlander Season 8 that is affected due to the writers strike as the writers are part of the WGA.
