Outlander Season 7, Episode 5 got us to Fort Ticonderoga. There, Claire would use her skills the way she knew and Jamie would attempt to prove that the fort could easily be taken. The episode was titled “Singapore,” and it was only watching the episode that the title made sense.
This episode was also a big one for Young Ian. He was sent to the near-by Mohawk village in an attempt to get the Mohawk to fight with the Americans. While there, he came across his wife, Emily, who we know chose someone else when she and Ian couldn’t have children together. Well, it looks like they could have children after all!
In the present day, Brianna attempted to prove herself at work. It led to her being trapped in the tunnel and having to decide what she wanted to do about it. In this episode, we saw the Brianna we knew she could be.

When it comes to the live ratings, they did see a dip from the previous episode. The demo was down by 66%, while the total audience was down 26%. The numbers weren’t the lowest of the season, and it’s not like they’re really all that much of a concern.
After all, remember that these are just the live ratings when the episode airs at 8 p.m. on Fridays nights on the linear channel. Fridays aren’t a strong night for live ratings. It doesn’t matter what show it is; Friday nights see some major dips in the ratings and the fact that it is a Friday is always taken into account by the networks.
Then there’s the fact that STARZ pays closer attention to those watching on the app. This is how most people watch the show, and we’re sure that getting to Fort Ticonderoga had plenty of people tuning in right away on the app.
