Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter is more about setting things up for the next book. There’s little in terms of foreshadowing, as it’s more about plot development. We have this moment of the MacKenzies coming back, so of course, we’re going to find out what happened to them and why they’re in the past instead of going back to the 1980s.

Then there’s the bit about Ian’s baby. There is a mention of naming Oggy “Wolf” somewhere to connect to Rollo, but I think this is the foreshadowing in the book. We get that reminder that Ian is “Wolf’s Brother” to the Mohawk, and Emily is sure to come up.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I am sure that most of this chapter will be used. We’ll likely skip over everything to do with Claire’s rapist, and we’ll get the focus on the MacKenzies returning and Ian’s baby instead. That’s all that we need to end Outlander Season 7, as that’s when I’m sure all of this will come up.
