The images for Outlander Season 7, Episode 7 have been released. They give us a great look at the battle that is to come in the episode.
The penultimate episode of Outlander Season 7A is here. It’s all about war, something that we can take from the promo alone. The First Battle of Saratoga is going to take place in the 18th century, which we’ll see Jamie, William, and Young Ian all part of.
Meanwhile, in the 20th century, there’s the big question of the man in the woods. Roger recognized him immediately. Well, it turns out that Buck MacKenzie is somehow in the 20th century. There are a lot of questions we need answering, but will those answers come in the episode?
We can look at the images for the episode to get an idea of what to expect. It’s mostly all about the upcoming battle.
William prepares for battle in Outlander Season 7, Episode 7
A lot of the images are focused on William and the Redcoats getting ready and in the First Battle of Saratoga. We get to see Brigadier Simon Fraser, and you just know based on how much we’re seeing him and his relation to Jamie that it means something bad is sure to happen.
There are a couple of images that include Captain Richardson, too. He had a great reason to send cryptic messages to the rebels, but how much of what he said is the truth? Will we get to hear more of his plans in the new episode? Will he send William into another dangerous situation?
It looks like there will be a lot of dead after the battle. There is one photo of people digging graves and you can see the feet of a few people wrapped in sheets, suggesting they are going to be buried. Are they some of those who were in the pig pen, or is this from the battle itself?

Jamie and Claire prepare for battle
William isn’t the only one getting ready for battle. Jamie will also need to prepare. He has agreed to join Daniel Morgan’s snipers. Claire is happy about that as it keeps him away from the main battle, but that doesn’t mean she is settled in the idea of him going to war yet again.
We get to see a loving embrace between them in one of the images for Outlander Season 7, Episode 7.

Roger and Bree invite Rob Cameron for dinner
In the 20th century, the images are mostly focused on Rob Cameron being at Lallybroch. Bree and Roger have invited him for dinner, but there are no signs of Buck MacKenzie anywhere. Is it possible that he’s living in the caravan in the driveway now? How will Buck be explained to others?
As for Rob, we know from the promo that it seems he has eyes for Bree. Is that really the case, though? Could he be up to something else, and does he know what Roger is really doing with that book about time travel?
