Roger found out the identity of the mysterious nuckelavee. Who is it, and is this someone who is friend or foe in Outlander Season 7?
Caution: This post contains spoilers for Outlander Season 7, Episode 6.
There has been someone creeping around Lallybroch for some time now. Jemmy is scared of someone who calls himself a nuckelavee. It was clear to Roger and Bree this had to be a person, but Roger can’t figure out where Jemmy would hear of this legend being in the Highlands.
Well, it turns out that Roger wasn’t going to let the stalker go. He knew someone was watching his family, and he finally found out how that stalker was. It wasn’t who you would initially think.
Who did Roger punch in Outlander Season 7, Episode 6?
I’m sure a lot of people thought someone like Rob Cameron was stalking Bree and Roger. After all, there’s something about him that is off. This is a man who is faking his respect for Brianna at work, and it’s clear that he wants something. So, you’d be forgiven if you expected him to be creeping around the Lallybroch grounds.
But it wasn’t him. Roger found out that it was someone from his past. More specifically, it was someone from the past.
Buck MacKenzie is in the woods creeping on Lallybroch. Yes, the same Buck who had Roger taken by the British and hanged. It’s no wonder why Roger immediately punched him. Now we’re ready to see what this “nuckelavee” actually wants, which is probably some help to get back to his own time.
How has Buck ended up in the 20th century? Of course, Buck could travel as the son of Geillis, but we didn’t expect him to actually do that, did we?
If you were a little confused by the man in the woods considering Graham McTavish played him in Season 5, don’t worry. The series announced a new actor would play Buck earlier this year, and that’s who you saw in the woods. Diarmid Murtagh has taken on the role of Buck in Outlander Season 7.
