3 best Jamie moments in Outlander Season 7, Episode 5
Jamie had some big moments in Outlander Season 7, Episode 5 as he looked at what the British could do. Here’s a look at his best moments from the episode.
Jamie is always a man of strategy. He looks ahead of what everyone can do. This is why he’s such a great chess player. However, not everyone is willing to listen to him. There are always those with egos who believe they know better.
Jamie faced a man like that in Outlander Season 7, Episode 5. He tried to prove he was right, but it was in vain. However, Jamie came out as a hero in the end. Let’s take a look inside the episode at his top three moments in order that they happened.
Jamie’s top moments in Outlander Season 7, Episode 5
Realizing how the British would attack
Jamie is a chess player. He looks multiple moves ahead to see what could happen, and he can use that in battle. He looked at the hill across the water and saw exactly how the British could take Fort Ticonderoga.
Of course, nobody would listen to him. While Jamie has those who follow him, not everyone sees what type of colonel he is. They don’t know the soldier that he was in the past.
Proving the attack could happen
Jamie knows when there’s no point in arguing. He needed to be able to show an attack would happen, so that’s what he does. Not everyone is happy with that, but it’s the perfect way to show exactly what the British will do.
Does it work? Sadly not. Jamie is once again told not to put men on the hill. It’s the wrong move, as everyone learns at the end of the episode.
Something that I love about this moment though is that he gets it after talking to Claire. He listens to everything that Claire says and figures things out in his own time.
Getting the people out
Jamie could have pointed out that he predicted the attack along. He doesn’t. That’s not helpful in the moment. Instead, he focuses on what is helpful.
Everyone needs to get out of Fort Ticonderoga as quickly as possible. Jamie has boats for those who can fit in them, and he will take as many people as possible. He is a hero of the night.
