Jamie doesn’t get a chance to get back to Scotland yet in Outlander Season 7, Episode 4. Here are his three top moments from the episode.

There is no doubt that the Revolutionary War is here. The Sons of Liberty are going as far as conscripting men to fight, and they will also take help from anywhere they can turn. It put a spanner in the works for Jamie’s plans to get to Scotland.

Jamie could have potentially fought against being forced to join the fight. He didn’t, though. He knew this was something that would need to happen. It’s time to look at Jamie’s best moments as he realized all this.

Like other best character moment posts, this one is done in order of the events happening.

Choosing to fight for his family

Jamie got to Wilmington for the initial part of his journey to Scotland. Well, it turns out that he’s not getting his wish. He comes across the leader of the Sons of Liberty and is forced to fight in the war. If Jamie names someone in his place, he can get around it, but he won’t do that.

Jamie will not allow others to fight for him. He makes it clear to Claire and Ian that he will fight for his family. After all, his own daughter was raised in what becomes of the country.

Not angry jealous at Tom Christie

After Claire sees Tom in the streets and he kisses her, it would have been understandable for Jamie to be angry. However, he wasn’t. While he admitted to being just a little jealous, he wasn’t angry about Tom’s actions. In fact, he understood Tom’s actions.

We get a light moment between Claire and Jamie. Jamie points out that he actually feels sorry for Tom, who doesn’t get Claire at all. Jamie knows that he has Claire.

Leading the people to Fort Ticonderoga

There’s a moment at the end of Outlander Season 7, Episode 4 that reminds me a lot of Outlander Season 2. Remember when Jamie and Claire led the men and women from The Old Fox to where the Jacobite Army was meeting? I got that sense as Jamie and Claire led everyone to Fort Ticonderoga.

While there wasn’t a lot of good that came from that moment, there was a sense of something big to come. And it’s clear that Jamie is still the King of Men.
