Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter doesn’t really foreshadow much. This is all about plot development to wrap up the Harkness storyline. A murder of an officer was never going to go unanswered. This is all setting up a storyline to find somewhere for Fanny to go after William fails to save Jane. I think it also sets up some more character growth for William as he tries to figure out a way to save her.

The only bit of foreshadowing I see is how Richardson and Amaranthus may be together to gain something. We know that Richardson wants to gain information from the Greys. He’s told Claire that. William may be right in thinking that Richardson is leading William down some sort of trap.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I would like to see this chapter adapted. I have a feeling that we’ll see some of Jane and Fanny’s storyline as it helps to show William’s growth as a young man. This doesn’t have to take up a lot of time, and then we can see Fanny go off to live with Claire and Jamie at the Ridge. We’ll see them take in another child to raise as they have always been so great at this.

I do suspect that we’ll see the Richardson storyline play out. I think Richardson and Amaranthus will end up being major players to end Outlander.
