Outlander Book Club: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 130 breakdown
Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter
A lot of this chapter is about wrapping up a few storylines. However, I certainly think it deepens the plot with Amaranthus. It’s clear that she is going to become a much bigger part of the overall story. We’ll just have to wait for the ninth book to really get into the details.
Other than that, I don’t really see all that much foreshadowing. We just know Claire’s life will be much easier with not having to make ether.
Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter
The chapter is sure to be used in the TV series. Maybe we won’t have the reason for Claire to go to the apothecary. She could have to go there for all sorts of needs when it comes to healing people. We may not get the full surgery that she needs to perform in the books. The important thing is to get her to the apothecary to connect her story to William’s via Amaranthus.
I suspect that we’ll get the Amaranthus storyline from the books. Outlander Season 7 is set to wrap up most of Books 7 and 8. That makes Book 9 for Season 8, which is heavy in the Amaranthus story when it comes to the Greys.
