Bree and Roger are now in the 20th century with Fiona and her family. Here’s a look at the best Bree moments from Outlander Season 7, Episode 3.
At the end of the previous episode, Bree and Roger got their family to the 20th century. It didn’t take too long to find out from Fiona—yes, they went straight to Fiona after the initial medical treatment—that Mandy is doing well.
Before the two figure out what they’re going to do next, they get a box full of letters. Fiona and her husband Ernie have been looking after it. The box is for Jemmy, but Bree and Roger open it to find letters for them. It’s time for them to find out what happened in the past.
3 best Bree moments in Outlander Season 7, Episode 3
This list is in order of the events happening. There wasn’t much in the 20th century, but that storyline is soon about to grow. To be honest, it’s why I’m not surprised some of the eighth book has been used in Outlander Season 7. There wasn’t that much in the seventh book for Bree and Roger except the letters.
1. Bree learns she changed history
There was a moment of triumph reading the letters. It all starts with the house burning down but everyone except Donner and his goons getting out. It was all because of Bree’s matches and Claire’s ether.
When Roger points out that the date changed from January to April, Bree realizes something. It means that it is possible to change history. They have done it.
Of course, back in the past, Claire just remarks how papers don’t get anything right. So, which one is it?
2. Taking Roger to Lallybroch
It turns out that the family is heading to Boston. However, Bree wants to take Roger somewhere before they go back. She takes him to see Lallybroch, which is all boarded up.
I love that Bree gets this chance to finally show Roger the house. It may not be as grand or as wonderful as it would have been back in the 18th century, but it’s a part of Bree’s family. It’s a part of her own history. We see her light up as she shows him it.
3. The look on her face as the real estate agent
At the very end of the episode, a woman shows up at Lallybroch. It turns out the place is for sale. Are they interested in buying it?
You just see this look on Brianna’s face. This is everything she wants. You can tell from that look what she is about to say.
