Claire sees William again in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 127

I honestly don’t know why so many people view William as a brat. Outlander Book 8, Chapter 127 shows how much he has grown when he sees Claire.

William was definitely spoiled as a child. That’s not surprising with his upbringing. But he wasn’t a brat. I know bratty children! William has been dealing with a lot. Identity is a huge thing to so many people, and it was everything of who William had grown up to be. He had to figure out now who he was and what this change of paternity (to him) meant.

However, he also knows that Claire was just caught up in the mess in the way that a few others were. She wasn’t to blame, and he shows that and how much he as grown after his angry outbursts in this chapter when he agrees to have a drink with Claire.

This chapter is all about getting everyone on the same page with the main storylines. After all, they are going to come up again very soon. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.

I suspect some of it will be used in the TV series. I’ll get to the details of that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 127.
