4. Bree and Roger get the letters

Brianna and Roger are in the present day. Well, their present day. They’re in the late 1970s or early 1980s, and they now have a box of letters. Claire and Jamie find a way to keep the two up to date with everything that has happened to them.

I just love how Bree doesn’t want to read them all just yet. She wants to savor the memories. Sure, Claire and Jamie are long dead, but these letters make it feel like they’re just across the ocean. Once she’s read the last one, she has to accept that they are gone, and she doesn’t like that idea.

This also makes it clear that they have no plans to go back to the past. Of course, plans can always change.

3. Jamie sharing his dream

Jamie has had another dream of the future. This time, it’s Bree and Roger with the children going to see Fiona. This is certainly a clue as to how the ghost from the series premiere fits in.

Jamie is doing more than dreaming. It seems like his dream walking or astral projecting to the future. He is physically seeing everything that is going on, allowing him the chance to experience the future without the ability to time travel. I loved his description of a telephone.
