Jamie found out all about the gold in Outlander Season 7, Episode 3. Here are the top three Jamie moments from the whole episode.
There were some excellent moments throughout Outlander Season 7, Episode 3. This season has certainly brought the magic of the stories to life again. The episode even managed to bring up the gold storyline, something that some of us had worried wouldn’t be used in the TV series since there’d been no mentions until Season 6.
Well, we got to see Jamie and Claire start a new journey that all started with their house burning down. Here’s a look at the best Jamie moments from the episode.
Top Jamie moments from Outlander Season 7, Episode 3
This list is in order of the moments happening in the show. It’s so hard to compare these moments as they tend to show different sides to Jamie’s character.
1. Confronting Arch Bug about the gold
At the end of the previous episode, Jamie seemed to know all about the gold nugget the Bugs had. When the house burned down, he went through the rubble and took another look at that gold. That was when he decided to confront Arch.
Jamie wouldn’t have a thief on the Ridge. Arch made it clear that Hector Campbell had stolen it. We got the full story of the gold coming to Scotland, what it was meant to be used for, and how it was divided up. Arch and Murdina fully believed they deserved it after everything that happened, but Jamie didn’t.
2. Sharing the dream of Bree and Roger
We’ve hear a little of Jamie’s dreams in the series. He had one in Season 4 and then he shared another earlier this season. Well, now it’s time for another one, although this one is making it clear that there is far more to Jamie’s dreams. Is he managing to astral project into the future?
He talked about a door and the future. He talked about a telephone that Jemmy was playing on. More importantly, he said Roger called a woman Fiona. I’m surprised Claire didn’t make a bigger deal of it, but I adore that Jamie is secure enough in telling Claire these dreams and loved him describing the phone.
3. Showing Claire the cave
Now that they had the gold, Jamie decided to hide it. He wants to make sure Jemmy and the MacKenzies have it in the future if needed—or they can get access to it if needed. How will Jemmy know where to find it?
Well, Jamie decides to take Claire to a cave that he and Jemmy found. I just love that Jamie was honest that finding the skeleton made him jump and that Jemmy found it funny. Oh, how I would have loved to see that scene play out for us. But, at least we’re getting moments connecting together.
