John and Dottie discuss pregnancy in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 125

Everyone seems to get pregnant so easily in the world of Outlander. We have another instance of that in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 125.

It seems like Dottie and Rachel have been married five minutes and they are both pregnant already. It’s all about Dottie in the new chapter, though. She and Lord John are on their way to Savannah when they stop off at an inn to rest and eat dinner. Dottie isn’t too certainly about the seafood Lord John Grey is excited to try.

Well, it turns out that something else is turning her stomach. This leads to a conversation about how much people tell Lord John Grey, before he decides that they are turning around and heading back to New York.

This chapter certainly sets up the plot for Dottie to be pregnant. I don’t really get much in the way of foreshadowing, though.

Will it be used in the TV series? The more I hear about how Book 9 is likely used the most for Outlander Season 8, it is possible. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.

Let’s dive into Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 125.
