Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter
The chapter certainly sets up the next part of the story. They are ready to get on the move and just need to figure out how and where they’re going.
The foreshadowing is in Germain’s story. He is pulling away from everyone as he deals with his grief. He blames himself, and it’s going to take the family to notice that to help him. Well, this family does notice things like that, and they’ll find a way to support him. Germain will end up with Jamie and Claire for a little while.
Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter
Since I expect everything leading up to this will be used, I think this chapter will be used in the TV series. It’s all about getting everyone back to where they need to be; closer to the Ridge. This chapter specifically also tells us what Marsali did with her share of the gold. She didn’t spend it but hid it. I love how smart she is in how she hid it.
There will be enough time to tell this part of the story. It involves so many of the main characters that it will be needed.
