2. Bree and William get to meet
Outlander Season 7, Episode 2 brought us a moment that we’d all been waiting for. Finding out that William was coming into the story, we knew he would meet his half-sister. Bree showed absolutely no sign that she knew William, making it clear that she really is her father’s daughter.
I also loved the moment afterward between Bree and Lord John. The two talked about William learning the truth, with Bree getting to share her own experience. Of course, things are different, but William does deserve to know the truth, doesn’t he? That’s not what John or Jamie think.
1. The goodbye at Ocracoke
With Mandy’s birth came a devastating realization. She had a heart defect that needed surgery, and Claire couldn’t do it. The only hope was traveling through time.
This was heartbreaking for all. Jamie wanted to teach his granddaughter to ride, and Claire wanted to teach her all about herbs. They had all these big plans, with Bree and Roger never wanting to go back to their own time after realizing that home is where the heart is.
It did lead to some beautiful goodbyes throughout the episode and at the very end. I certainly loved the “big mouse named Mickey” part.
