4. Mrs. Bug coming across Claire and Young Ian

After Claire and Ian deal with Allan Christie, they need to bury him in the woods. They want to do it without anyone seeing, but Mrs. Bug comes across them.

I just love how she immediately decided to help them. She had seen the devil in the man, so she knew that Claire and Ian did whatever they had to do.

However, looking back, it’s clear that there was more to Mrs. Bug being out in the woods. Why was she out there? Did opting to go with whatever Claire and Ian were doing protect her? It is surely going to end up linked to that piece of gold she had in her things before the place went up in flames.

3. Finding out who killed Malva

As much as this moment in Outlander Season 7, Episode 2 makes me sick, it is a necessary part of the story. We got details of who killed Malva, who the father of her baby was, and why. Allan shared the full truth, and then made it clear that he was going to kill himself.

Claire wasn’t going to let him do that. That didn’t stop Ian from killing him, though. Ian had believed that there was a chance he was the father of the baby. He grieved that loss because of it. So, naturally, he was angry and disgusted in finding out what actually happened.

What I will also add is that Claire’s expressions were perfect, throughout. You could tell everything she was thinking from the look on her face.
