What a devastating end in Outlander Season 7, Episode 2. The house that became a home for Claire and Jamie has burned down thanks to Wendigo Donner. Well, now it’s time to see what’s to come next.
Of course, the episode is going to pick up off the back of the burned down house. We get a glimpse of that in the promo for the episode. Jamie is clearly devastated. This was home to him, too. It doesn’t help that he’ll likely feel he’s losing everything with Bree and Roger now being gone. But there’s something more serious going on.

Take a look at the promo for the new episode. It gives us a hint of things to come with glimpses of a funeral, the burned down house, and Claire offering Young Ian some advice.
We get a bit about Jamie having a dream of Bree and Roger walking up the steps of “our house.” How is that possible? Claire isn’t asking about how it’s possible Bree and Roger are going to the house, but how Jamie is having these dreams.
Outlander spoilers: 7×03 synopsis
The synopsis tells us a little more of what to expect. Jamie is going to find out something about Arch Bug. With the gold coming up in the most recent episode, we’re sure to get more details about this. There has to be a link, right?
The synopsis also gives us a look at the storyline in the 20th century. We know from the promo that Bree and Roger will head to Lallybroch. Is that where they’re moving to? Is that the link Roger and Bree will find to Jamie and Claire, or is there more detail to this part of the synopsis? Of course, we can read the books to find out, but let’s give the show-first and show-only fans something to look forward to and speculate about.
