Outlander Book Club: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 113 breakdown
Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter
The chapter certainly foreshadows babies for Rachel and Marsali. That’s not really all that surprising though, is it? They are women of their time so they will be all about children as well as being wives and figuring out life for themselves.
Other than that, I just see mostly plot development for various characters in this chapter.
Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter
It’s hard to say if this chapter will be used in the TV show or not. Part of me thinks that it may be skipped over, especially the bit about what Ian and Rachel are doing next. I have a feeling that the Grey storyline will be skipped over as there isn’t enough time. There’s just so much to fit in for Claire, Jamie, Bree, and Roger.
I’m also on the fence about anything involving Marsali and Fergus. We still don’t know if they’re coming back into the series.
What I do expect to see if the talk of going back to Fraser’s Ridge. It’s all that Claire and Jamie really want. That is their home.
