Is Dougal in Outlander Season 7A?
Outlander Season 7A is almost here, and we want to know which of the returning faces we’ll see again. Will Dougal be in the first part of the story?
We know there are a few returning faces in Outlander Season 7. Some of those returning faces are characters that have died in the show. That suggests more time travel or some more figments of the imagination. Either way, one of the returning faces is Dougal MacKenzie, Jamie’s uncle.
Graham McTavish is returning at some point in the new season. The question is whether we’re waiting for the second half of the season in 2024 or not to see him. Is there any sign that Dougal will be in the first eight episodes?
Will Dougal be in Outlander Season 7A?
We have some bad news. It doesn’t look like Dougal will be in the first half of the season. We’re only working with promotional material to work this out, mind.
Of course, there is a chance that there are some characters being left as a surprise. However, the trailer for Outlander Season 7A is focused on saving Claire from her current situation, the fire at the Big House, a funeral procession, and the Siege of Fort Ticonderoga. It doesn’t look like there’s anything that’s in Scotland, so unless Dougal is a figment of Jamie’s or Claire’s imagination, he’s not likely in the season.
That means we’re waiting until Season 7B in 2024. That makes more sense when you consider why Dougal shows up in the books. No, we won’t get into spoilers, but he is in part of the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood story. It’s all connected to Roger rather than Jamie. That’s all we’ll say.
