Is William in Outlander Season 7A?

Charles Vandervaart is taking on the role of William in Outlander Season 7. How long will we need to wait to see him? Will he be in Outlander Season 7A?

We know that Outlander Season 7 will see Adult William. It didn’t take too long for the series to announce who would play this role—a role people have speculated about for a long time. It wasn’t going to be easy to find someone everyone liked or pictured as William. To be honest, not everyone will agree, but Charles Vandervaat is who we have.

So, now we just need to know when he’ll turn up in the story. Will we need to wait until 2024 to see him, or is he a character we’ll see come up sooner rather than later? We don’t need the books to dive into what happens. We just need the promotional material to tell us.

Adult William in Outlander Season 7A

We are expecting to see William come up in Outlander Season 7A. This is a character that STARZ has heavily promoted for the season. It wouldn’t make sense to heavily promote him and then not bring him into the story.

In the promo, we see Lord John Grey ask Jamie if fitting on the same side as William is enough to get Jamie to consider switching over. Jamie doesn’t want to face his son across the barrel of a musket, but it looks like that will happen at the Siege of Fort Ticonderoga.

There are also some episode stills of William and Lord John. In fact, there’s one with Brianna as well. Brother and sister will meet, but will William know who he is meeting for the first time? Probably not, but it’s only a matter of time before he learns the truth.
