Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The chapter is more about bringing closure to this part of the story, but there is some foreshadowing. Remember that Roger is trying to keep Buck away from Geillis, but Buck wants to head back to Cranesmuir. He has a think for his mother. It’s just wrong on so many levels, but it’s clear that Roger can’t do anything to stop that playing out. Sometimes, you just need to give someone a friendly ear and a prayer.

Adapting the Written in My Own Heart’s Blood chapter

I want to see the end part of this chapter used in the TV series. It’s when Roger and Jem are reunited. With everything that Roger has done in the past, it’s easy to forget that he was supposed to be searching for Jem. Well, now he’s found him.

Not only that, but Mandy is there, too. It’s going to bring up a lot of questions. They’re going to be easy to answer, but then there’s the question of what should the MacKenzie family do next.
