We’re ready for more Lord John Grey, but his friendship with Jamie is over, isn’t it? Will John be back for Outlander Season 7A?
Things took a turn for John and Jamie’s friendship in Outlander Season 6. John found out that Jamie is on the side of the Continental Army. Of course, he doesn’t understand why. He thinks that Jamie is making a huge mistake. Had Jamie not known how the Revolutionary War would end, he would have been on the side of the British Crown, but he knows that would be a death sentence.
So, he’s on the side of America becoming America. That’s hard for Lord John Grey. Will he now turn his back on his friend, or is there still some sense of loyalty there? Will we get to see Lord John Grey return in Outlander Season 7A?
Will Lord John Grey be in Outlander Season 7A?
You can bet that Lord John Grey is back. There is no way to continue the story without him. John becomes a much bigger player in the books from the seventh book, and we’re going to see all that play out throughout the final two seasons. It all starts with the first eight episodes of Season 7.
We also know that Adult William is coming into the story. This is going to play a part in the first eight episodes and brings John into the story. There’s a moment in the trailer for the season when John asks Jamie if he’ll switch sides if it means fighting next to his son, William. That’s not going to make Jamie switch sides, but he doesn’t want to face his son in battle across a musket.
