Outlander Season 6 is not coming to Netflix in June 2023
We continue with bad news for those who want to use Netflix to catch up on Outlander. Outlander Season 6 is not coming yet.
Instead of paying for multiple subscriptions, some people will wait for Outlander to come to Netflix. If you’re waiting for Outlander Season 6, there still a lot of bad news. This season is not coming to the streamer in the U.S. just yet.
Not only is it not on the list of June releases, but we’re not expecting it in 2023 at all. The good news is Outlander Season 7 premieres on STARZ this month, and you can still catch up on the sixth season there!
When will Outlander Season 6 come to Netflix?
When can we expect to see the season arrive on Netflix? Well, this is where we do have some bad news. It is highly unlikely that we’ll see the season come to the U.S. version of the streamer in 2023 at all.
We’re not expecting the show until May 1, 2024. This will mark two years from the finale airing on STARZ, following the way Seasons 3, 4, and 5 were all released.
To make it even worse, there is a chance that the show won’t go to Netflix at all. We have to look at licensing and contracts and how the streaming world is changing. There is a chance that STARZ will decide to remove the content from Netflix and keep everything exclusive to its own app. There is also a chance that Netflix will decide that the viewership of the series doesn’t justify the cost to license the show.
In other words, don’t rely on Netflix to do anything. If you haven’t seen the sixth season yet because you were waiting for it to go to Netflix, just get STARZ. You’ll not only be able to get caught up, but you’ll also be able to watch Outlander Season 7 when it premieres.
