4. Roger and Jemmy share a birthmark

Roger found his calling during Outlander Season 6. He will be a minister, and that meant he and Bree headed off for Roger to do his training. While on the way, Bree realized that Jemmy had lice. There was only one remedy at the time: Jemmy needed to have his hair cut.

That’s when Bree saw a mole/birthmark. She worried that it was something dangerous, but when Roger looked he eased her concern. It’s a hereditary birthmark that forms when a child is around three. He has one.

Yes, he has one.

It’s genetic, and Roger has the same birthmark. That made it clear after a couple of seasons of concern that Jemmy is Roger’s biological son.

5. Fergus and Marsali have left the Ridge

Fergus and Marsali may not be part of Outlander Season 7. They are nowhere in the promo for the first half of the season, although we could see them turn up later. Lauren Lyle couldn’t tell us if she was going to be in the season or not.

Where are they? Well, they’re in Wilmington. Jocasta made sure that Fergus was set up with a print shop and Marsali took the children there with Fergus to help run it.

This could lead to disaster for the two. With the Revolutionary War on their doorstep, they may see more action than they’d like. We saw in Season 6 that a printer was threatened by an angry mob because of the material he printed. If anyone things Fergus is on the Crown’s side in Outlander Season 7, he’s in for the same treatment. If he shows too much loyalty for the militia right away, he’s in some trouble with the Crown.

This should mean there’s a storyline for Fergus and Marsali. We’ll just have to see if there is time for them.
