Outlander Book Club: Written in My Own Heart’s Blood Chapter 100 breakdown
Roger and Buck learn of a stranger around the stones in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 100
Roger and Buck get some information that could help them find Roger’s father in Outlander Book 8, Chapter 100. However, things aren’t looking good.
The two men are still dealing with a language barrier. Fortunately, the stones can be drawn, and that’s what Roger does on his hands. It leads the two men to a man who knows where the stones are. That man sends his son to lead Roger and Buck.
While there, the boy explains about a stranger who came through. This stranger was dressed weirdly and there was a mention of a “whip.” That’s actually some sort of whip, a piece of cloth from an RAF uniform. Roger knows that he is close.
This chapter is more about pushing the storyline forward. I do think there’s a bit of foreshadowing in the chapter, though. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the foreshadowing section.
What about using this in the TV series? This part I’m not too sure about. I’ll get to my thoughts on that in the adaptation section.
